Are you on board? 

Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a people focused and commercially minded Senior Revenue Manager to join us in this exciting time of growth! 

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the team of Revenue Managers to deliver the day-to-day revenue target associated with Revenue Management through effective people management. You'll drive results through a commercially sound approach to train/market Revenue Management and overall steerage of the Revenue Management System (RMS). 

You'll also hold responsibility for the day-to-day Revenue Management strategy, balancing yield and volume to maximise revenue and minimise crowding levels through the optimal allocation of inventory and ticket availability. This will be achieved through a strong collaborative working relationship with key internal parties and ensure delivery of the booking horizon to meet commercial and customer needs.   

Within this role you'll also be involved in; 

  • Leading the Revenue Management team and overall strategy, ensuring revenue optimality across c.£885 million in annual revenue through strategic and tactical decision-making. 
  • Leading, coaching, and developing the Revenue Management team, addressing underperformance and ensuring workload coverage. 
  • Overseeing medium-term demand and supply planning and formulating strategies for events and exceptional situations to maximise short-term revenue. 
  • Interpreting and analysing data from multiple sources to inform key business decisions and revenue plans. 
  • Leading development of Revenue Management strategies for timetable and capacity changes, including pricing and launch plans. 
  • Maximising revenue by minimising dilution and spoilage and monitoring performance against targets. 
  • Managing quota strategies to balance onboard crowding with revenue maximisation. 
  • Designing and leading a Test and Learn programme, sharing results across the business. 
  • Representing Revenue Management in internal and external forums, including industry groups and joint commercial initiatives. 
  • Leading daily management of ticket availability with Reservations and Revenue Managers to ensure timely ticket release. 
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Retail teams to inform tactical activities and current-year planning. 
  • Driving cross-functional engagement to embed revenue-optimising strategies across the business. 
  • Promoting Revenue Management understanding company-wide to enhance commercial acumen in other departments. 
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of booking horizon and effective use of the reservation system for both commercial and customer needs. 
  • Maintaining integrity and effectiveness of the Revenue Management System, focusing on input accuracy and forecast improvements. 
  • Working with system suppliers to maximise value from the Revenue Management System and contribute to its ongoing development. 
  • Supporting the Revenue Management Lead in setting strategic system development direction and delivering revenue-enhancing outcomes.

  • Customer-focused innovator – You understand what customers want and are skilled at translating those needs into smart, data-led solutions that deliver real impact. 
  • Revenue Management pro – You bring experience from a Revenue Management role in a fast-paced industry like rail, aviation, or leisure – and you know how to use it to drive growth. 
  • Commercially minded – You have a solid grasp of Revenue Management and marketing principles and understand how they work together to deliver results. 
  • Comfortable with complexity – You're used to navigating regulated environments and can balance commercial creativity with compliance and governance.
