Calling at more than 50 stations along almost a thousand miles of the East Coast route, LNER connects the major towns and cities between London, the East Midlands, Yorkshire, the North East of England and Scotland.
Our modern, eco-friendly, fleet of 65 Azuma trains set new, higher standards in comfort, reliability and customer experience and we’re also bringing more services, more seats and quicker journeys to our customers from this December, thanks to our new transformational timetable – marking the biggest change to train services in over a decade.
Plus, we’ve made huge inroads reducing our environmental impact, cutting our carbon emissions by 50% in the past five years alone, meaning we’re on track to achieving our goal of being net-zero by 2045. Everything we do is aimed at giving our passengers, our people and our communities the very best experiences.

We’ve made the headlines by being the first to introduce an at-seat ordering service, Let’s Eat At Your Seat. We also collaborated with Network Rail and other operators to create the first lounge at King’s Cross dedicated to families.
